At the event, families can gain first-hand experience of the district’s institutions: they can learn about the programs offered by the member kindergartens, gain insight into the professional work and talk to the kindergarten teachers in person.
Children can enjoy a musical program and lots of games, while parents can watch introductory videos and engage in informal professional discussions. This year’s event includes the opportunity to learn about Józsefváros United Nurseries.
Parents who do not speak Hungarian can request the assistance of an interpreter.

Józsefváros Kindergartens (JÓK) welcome families with eleven member institutions:
- Csillagfürt (headquarters)
- Csodasziget
- Katica
- Mackóvár
- Mesepalota
- Napvirág
- Pitypang
- Százszorszép
- TÁ-TI-KA
- Tündérkert
- Virágkoszorú
- +1 Józsefvárosi Egyesített Bölcsődék (United Nurseries of Józsefváros)
The member institutions operate according to the Pedagogical Program, based on the national core curriculum for preschool education, while each also emphasizes its own local priorities. The common values ensure a uniform pedagogical approach. At the same time, the individual character of the member kindergartens makes the institution as a whole more diverse, allowing parents to choose the kindergarten that best suits them and their children.
The 2026 Oviexpo will be held on March 19, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at H13 Kultpont (Budapest, District VIII, Horánszky utca 13).
Further details on registration will be available on the JÓK website soon. Parents can contact the institution’s staff with any questions at 06-1/210-0086 or info@jok-ovi.hu.
